About Dennis
Family
I love our story!!! In 1997 I married my high school sweetheart (Lorrie) and began my "career" as a science teacher. Little did I know that God would re-direct my steps just a few short years later into pastoral ministry. I quickly grew to love serving people and seeing lives changed for the glory of God!​

I served for 10 years at Northside Baptist Church in Charleston SC and have been in central NC at Needhams Grove Baptist Church since the summer of 2015.

God has also blessed us with four wonderful children! (Katelyn, Andrew, Emma, and Laurel)

PASTOR
Dennis has served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years and functions in a variety of roles within the church. He currently serves as the pastor of Needhams Grove Baptist Church in Seagrove, NC.

Drawing on his experience as a pastor and teacher, Dennis approaches every word he writes with a deep love for both Scripture and communication. His hope is to bridge the gap between ancient biblical truths and our modern lives, making the rich teachings of the Bible accessible and applicable to everyone. When not in the pulpit, Dennis is a dynamic voice in the digital world. He co-hosts The Better Together Podcast with his wife, where they share practical insights on Christian marriage and parenting. Dennis has also cultivated a growing audience on YouTube, creating videos that allow him to reach into the digital space and share his passion for the Lord and God's Word with a wider community.
