Our Story
I love our story!!! In 1997 I married my high school sweetheart (Lorrie) and began my "career" as a science teacher. Little did I know that God would re-direct my steps just a few short years later. As God directed me toward pastoral ministry, I grew to love serving people and seeing lives changed for the glory of God!​

I served for 10 years at Northside Baptist Church in Charleston SC and have been in central NC at Needhams Grove Baptist Church since the summer of 2015.

God has also blessed us with four wonderful children! (Katelyn, Andrew, Emma, and Laurel)

I'm so thankful for the opportunities that I have had to minister to God's people. I have been privileged to:
-speak at teen and junior camps at The Wilds, Living Water Christian Camp, and Camp Victory
-speak at The Wilds College and Career Retreat and Marriage Conference
-host and speak at the "Marriage Matters" conference in 2018 and "Better Together" conference in 2019
-host Let's Talk Church, a podcast for pastors and ministry leaders
"God's Word is the highest authority in our lives! However, we must be careful that we don't let that truth become just a slogan. It is so easy to let our traditions become our guide instead of actively pursuing truth from God's Word. Never let your "religion" become more important than your relationship with Jesus Christ."
